About Wellcaza: rooted in the legacy of Wellcaza Hospital Pvt Ltd, the Wellcaza Group of Institutions prepares ethical, skilled professionals in health sciences and languages, with campuses in Kochi and Bengaluru.
Our story
Our story began in 1985 with a small venture called Ashrafi Book Centre, which soon grew into a modern printing facility. In 1990 we opened Tirurangadi Bookstall, and in 2008 the business became Edumart, built around making education more accessible. Skoolmart, an educational hypermarket for school and student essentials, followed in 2022, with stores in Kakkanad, Calicut, Tirur, Bengaluru and KSA.
We entered healthcare by founding Wellcaza Hospital Private Limited in Ernakulam, starting in 2022 as a diagnostic laboratory at Karukappally, Kaloor. Wellcaza Medicity quickly earned a reputation in general medicine and casualty care, and today the group also offers services such as assisted living and dementia care for senior citizens.
The Wellcaza School of Health Sciences was the next step: an institution that blends academic rigour with real clinical training, guided by committed faculty and enriched by access to diverse cases at our parent hospital.
